机の修理

息子の使っている机の調子が良くない。妻が直してほしいと言ってきた。観てみると4個ある引きだしの3個が破壊されている。それぞれ奥の板が外れている。大きな引きだしの奥の板は真っ二つに折れて脱落していた。よほど大きな力が掛かって破壊されたのであろう。またこの引き出しの横両ガイドは脱落して引き出し機能は無くなっていた。小さい引き出し2個は、奥の板を接着剤により修復可能であった。大きな引きだしの奥の板は折れているので接着剤だけでは修復は不可能である。適切な補強板を板材から切リだして木ネジ4本と接着剤で補強した。奥の板は奥即ち裏から補強した。また引き出しの両側のガイド板は折れていて脱落しているので下側から別個のガイド板を3個新設した。こうして机の修理をしたが使用したのは接着剤だけで、板切れと木ネジは在庫のものでだけであった。

犬山祭その二

12日に90歳で死去した親戚のS叔母さんの葬儀に出席するため熊本県八代市を目指した。我が家を5時に出て扶桑より名古屋を経由して新幹線に乗り、八代市に向かった。近畿ツーリストによるとこれが最善のコースで、飛行機だと更に遅れるという。新幹線に乗った途端に電話をかけをようとしたが携帯の電池切れと共に懐中時計も電池切れとなっていた。そこで博多駅の公衆電話で叔母さんの息子さんM.A氏に連絡した。すると新八代で降りてタクシーに乗ると良いとのことである。この指示に従って、玉泉院と言う葬儀場に入ると同時に読経が聞こえ、冷や汗が出てきた。ここで反省することは、1日早く出て宿泊すれば良かったと思う。仏様の法名は「釋尼慧清」である。調べると、禅宗での戒名とは異なり、浄土真宗の独特の法名で「釋尼」が仏の弟子の意味で、「慧清」が固有名で賢く清々しいと言う意味であろう。葬儀後に近くの遺体焼却場に移り、最後の葬送の儀式の後に焼却が行われた。職員の話によると焼却温度 約800度で3時間10分かかるという。この間に休憩所で叔母さんの娘さんM.Mと故人の思い出話と食事をした。2012年3月2日以来の再会であり、話は尽きない。やがて無常観が漂う骨壺の収納がされた。我々もやがてはこうなる。私は娘さんM.Mの家から、M.A氏夫妻の車で新八代まで送って頂き帰宅の途に付いた。

雛祭り

Eine Mädchen ist nur eine Frau, aber meine Familie gibt eine Puppe bis Ende Februar. Ein Zepter der Substitution verschwunden und es in diesem Jahr von Hand gefertigt. 図書館展示の雛人形

昨日、図書館展示の雛人形を見てきた。図書館の二階に雛人形は展示してあるあるので、一階の案内を見て楽しみに階段を登っていくと、勉強室外の廊下に明るく照らされていた。今月、初旬の2月9日に江南スイトピアで見てきた本格的な雛人形とは異なり、吊しの飾りもあって独特の柔らかさがあって良い。展示の雛人形はウサギだろうか？。　壁には他所の雛人形展示案内のポスターも貼ってある。隣の大口町の文化財マップも置いてあって興味深かった。桜が咲いたら訪れてみよう。
Doll of the library display
I watched a doll of the library display yesterday. When I watched guidance of the first floor in there being that the doll was displayed in the second floor of the library and it was a pleasure and climbed the stairs, it was bright, and it was lighted up by the study corridor out of the room.  先月の26日に続いてビデオ鑑賞を近所の医院でしてきた。内容は主として、蒋介石の率いる中華民国との日中戦争である。歴史上の人物である蒋介石、毛沢東、近衛総理大臣がでてくる。まず、、盧溝橋事件を発端として上海事変から始まり、米国の援蒋ルートの遮断のための作戦や、徐州作戦、南京への攻撃が続く。南京攻略後は首都を重慶へ移した蒋介石政府に対して渡洋爆撃が写し出された。米国の戦略爆撃の手本であったであろう。長期の戦争のための日本国内の人的、経済的な疲弊は如何ばかりであったろう。やがては日米戦争が引き起こされるが、次回のビデオ鑑賞となると言う。不謹慎にも笑いを誘うのは南京攻略に向かう兵士の群れに豚が繋がれ引かれていく場面である。20世紀は映像の時代となっている。

建国記念の日は建国をしのび、国を愛する心を養う日と言う。1967（昭和42）年から実施されている国民の祝日である。私個人としては素晴らしい祝日と感じて国旗を掲揚しているが。ご近所には国旗を揚げるひとは年毎に少なくなり、年配の人もかつて紀元節、紀元節・天長節・明治節として奉祝していた記憶も少なくなってきたのだろう。まして若い人は日本書記に書かれた神武天皇のこともなにも知らない人も多いのだろう。日本の祝日も皇室を起源としたもの多いのに国民に感心が薄い。でも日本国として考えるなら平昌オリンピックの応援には熱心な人が多いので、神話の話とでなく真の祝日として国民に認められるように啓蒙が必要であろう。
